We've launched a new music ministry.
Three years ago, Citychurch reached out to a Brazilian family that had been educated in America but had returned to Brazil where they were ministering in a local church. The husband, Renato Silva, and his wife Eurie, were building choirs, training musicians, and developing media to minister online. After spending some time getting to know them better and praying to seek God’s direction, we were able to call them to move to Amarillo and help us establish a new music program here at Citychurch.
They are an extremely talented family. Their oldest son, Samuel, plays the keyboard and piano. Their middle child, Marcos, plays the drums, and their youngest, Anna is learning English and assimilating into her new culture.
Already, Renato has launched our first choir that will be performing during our Christmas Outreach Service on Dec. 17th. Members of the choir are already leading worship during our Sunday morning services. Soon, we will be launching our choir for children and also middle and high school youth. Eurie has been developing our media ministry and has already started organizing our media team that will help us stream our worship services online.
We couldn’t be more grateful for the Silva family and ask that you join us in praying for them as they serve alongside us here at Citychurch.
